Should You Travel to New York City?
Absolutely. Nowhere else in the world will you feel an experience quite like the one this great city provides. If you fly in from abroad, you’ll undoubtedly land at John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport. It’s a massive place, with endless terminals and automatic walking ramps.
When you walk out the front door, be sure to call an Uber and head straight to Manhattan. There’s thousands of hotels, so there’s no need to book in advance. You can book a place from your mobile phone on the way into the city. You’ll certainly be stuck in traffic for a long time, so don’t worry – you’ll easily have more than enough time to book your hotel room. Although it’s expensive, go for the hotels closest to Times Square.
Finally, it’s the moment you’ve been waiting for. Your taxi pulls around the corner and drops you in the middle of Times Square. As soon as you step out of the car and look around, you’ll get the same feeling I got when I arrived in NYC for the first time – opportunity. It hits you like a wave. There are so many people and there is so much going on that it overloads your senses. So, stand there and enjoy. That same feeling I got 2 years ago when I moved here is the one that keeps me here today.
